Adding a new LearnDash Course

This guide only covers metadata and setup related to issuing points via Tangible Cred. For more information on course authoring check out LearnDash's documentation, which can be found here: learndash.com/support/kb/core/courses

A LearnDash course must have at least one substep (lesson, topic, quiz) in order to issue earning events to users.

Default Accreditation Rules

Once you've configured a default earning events in your initial setup of Tangible Cred, earned accreditations will be automatically triggered for every relevant event in the system to avoid any data loss. The specifics of this default earning can be adjusted from the course edit screen.

Product ID

A static string that identifies the default accreditation.

Accreditation Fields

Accreditation fields defined in the default earning event setup can be filled out here.

Accreditation Code

Depending on your settings this may have a different name. The codes interface allows definition of a static or scheduled code associated with the content.

Earned Points

The number of points of each type enabled on default accreditations that shall be issued to all users who complete the content.

Associated Accreditation Rules

This section contains event issuance criteria relevant to the current content pulled in from all of accreditations for convenient editing in the course context.

Bulk Create Accreditation Rules

This panel allows quick creation of new earning issuance criteria and is especially helpful for initial configuration and configuration of newly-published courses, as it allows direct association between the content and published accreditations.
